History
John Robertson Ltd was established in 1982 as suppliers of sawn timber from Indonesia and Ghana to the UK and Europe.
As timber production evolved we were pioneers in establishing furniture factories overseas. From this base Teak Tiger, a wholly owned subsidiary, was formed in 1990 to supply furniture and accessories direct to the consumer by mail order.
We opened our UK factory in 1996 and are now nominated suppliers of teak and iroko exterior furniture to many of the UK’s best known chains.

We take our responsibility to the environment very seriously. We guarantee that all timber used in our furniture production comes from renewable sources.
